Active ingredient 100 g of paste contain Active ingredient: Pyrantel Pamoate 38 g (equivalent to 13.2 g of Pyrantel base) Indications Treatment of gastrointestinal infestations of horses caused by large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus), small strongyles (Triodonthophorus spp., Cyathostominae) and tapeworms (Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata, Anoplocephala magna). Contraindications Use is not recommended in severely debilitated animals. Adverse reactions The most frequently observed side effects are related to the gastrointestinal system, in particular: anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea. Target species Equines Dosage, route and method of administration Route of administration: oral Dosage: 6.6 mg of Pyrantel base /kg b.w./day, equal to 5 g of oral paste per 100 kg of live weight, in a single administration, is effective in nematode infestations; at a double dosage it is effective in tapeworm infestations. Infestations caused by large and small strongyles: s administer with a single treatment 5 g of oral paste per 100 kg of equine weight. Infestations caused by tapeworms (TAPEWORM): administer 10 g of paste per 100 kg of the equine's weight in a single treatment. Using the 35 g and 50 g syringe. Waiting time Meat and offal:zero days Special precautions for storage Shelf life after opening the syringe is 30 days Warnings Special precautions for use: In debilitated or heavily infested animals, the product should only be used after a risk/benefit assessment by the veterinarian. Overdose: No symptoms of any kind have occurred following administrations of up to 6 times the therapeutic dose for 3 consecutive days.
