This shoe has a large sloping surface from the outside upper edge to the inside lower edge. This sloping surface extends from quarter end to quarter end, granting the shoe special preventive and therapeutic properties. The full heels and eggbar provide extra surface and support on penetrable surfaces to the hind part of the hoof, avoiding coffin joint extension. It is suitable if the horse is intolerant to dorsal extension and has to make narrow turns. This shoe helps ease mediallateral take-off, thus reducing asymmetric pressures on the joints and tensions on the collateral ligaments. The easing of the dorsal and diagonal take-off reduces tension peaks on the deep flexor tendon, on the inferior check ligament and pressures on the navicular bone.

The take-off is actually eased in all directions, which helps reduce laminar and white line stresses. It is suitable if the horse is intolerant to lateral and medial lifting. This shoe is fit for use on penetrable surfaces. The seated-out toe on the inside upper surface helps avoid sole pressures, the further seating-out on the lower surface avoids weight increases. The holes are punched in such a way that the nails can be driven into the wall with the right inclination.
